ABOUT SOF

The Summer Opportunities Fair (SOF) is a community service event that provides a venue for parents and children to learn about summer programs.

The fair presents a wide range of local, national, international camp and summer study opportunities for all kids ages 5 to 18, in academic and cultural enrichment, outdoor adventure, sports, travel, day and board, community service and volunteer programs.

First offered to the community in 1991, the fair is hosted by Westridge School and typically takes place on its campus, drawing around 2,000 visitors each year from Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley, the Greater Los Angeles area, and the San Fernando Valley. This informative community service event is free to the public and offers something for every student.

The camps and programs represented at the fair are independent organizations that are not affiliated with Westridge School. No endorsement by Westridge School concerning exhibitor offerings is expressed or implied. Families should conduct their own research and reference checks before selecting a program for their child.

SOF 2025

Update as of January 17, 2025: Currently, Westridge and the greater Los Angeles community continue to focus resources and attention on school and community needs due to the devastation caused by recent fires that have destroyed homes and businesses and displaced numerous families. While we have explored ways to proceed with our event as planned, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year's Summer Opportunities Fair.

We are still planning to launch this robust SOF website in February as a helpful summer planning resource. Stay tuned, and thank you for your understanding.
